Prof. Li An’s research focuses on complex human-environment systems/science, data science, spatial analysis and modeling, landscape ecology, and complexity theory.
He is a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), a “lifetime distinction awarded to leading scientists across the world” (AAAS announcement).
