Prof. Xiaodong Chen is Professor at the Research Center for Eco-Environmental Sciences (RCEES) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. He has published more than 30 articles in peer-reviewed international journals such as PNAS, Conservation Biology, Ecology and Society.

His recent publications in the CNH (China) project include:

• Agent-based modeling for conservation policy evaluation (Zhang et al. 2022)
• Crop-raiding by wildlife and forest policy (Chen et al. 2019)
• Cropland abandonment and forest policy (Zhang et al. 2018)
